Adi Tekelezan District is a district in the Anseba region of north-western Eritrea. The capital lies at Adi Tekelezan.
The area is prone to drought and starvation and even an excellent harvest would cover only 3 – 5 months food supply due to the extremely small size of farmers’ fields. Farmland only covers roughly 0.5 ha in the district. The area has been recognized by the World Food Programme.[1]
